Decent Stay with Room for Improvement

During my solo adventure, the King Room felt spacious despite some quirks. The location near Baxter Park is excellent for hiking enthusiasts. I recommend checking out the local McDonald's for breakfast options rather than what was available at the hotel.

Everything was amazing.

The stay was quite comfortable, and I was impressed by the attentive staff who made sure all my needs were met. The decor featuring warm wood furnishings created a cozy atmosphere in my room. Although navigating some areas could be tricky due to the lack of signage, the cleanliness of the facilities and the accommodating service helped to create an enjoyable experience overall.

I had a lovely stay with my daughters, and the indoor pool provided a nice way to unwind after our adventures. The clean surroundings made it feel really welcoming. being so close to Baxter State Park and the various galleries allowed us to stroll through beautiful landscapes and artistic spaces easily.

The elevator's failure on the third floor was frustrating!!! An immediate renovation of the hallways would vastly improve the stale odor and outdated decor!!! More towel hooks in the bathroom are absolutely a must!!!

The Katahdin Inn & Suites provides comfortable, older rooms decorated simply with warm wood furnishings, creating a homey atmosphere. The staff were very attentive, ensuring my needs were met, which is especially appreciated for senior guests.

Navigating common areas could benefit from better signage.

Had a great time with friends! We explored Baxter State Park and enjoyed the nearby snowmobile trails. The rooms were clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The pool looked awesome, and breakfast was solid. Definitely recommend it!

The room was consistently uncomfortable due to a strange odor, and the wifi was out throughout my stay. However, I appreciated the prewrapped pastries at breakfast, despite limited options.

The room had a microwave, fridge, and big flat-screen TV. There was good heating and fresh towels. Breakfast had yogurt, bagels, and waffles. The fitness center was decent. There was a hot tub, though I wished it was warmer. Cleaning was on point, but the building felt a bit dated overall.
